Ok, the original deal on this one kind of fell through, so this is up for grabs again.

This is some of Hanson's W2. I forged it into this camper kind of knife. I don't want to toot my own horn, but this is one of the best hamons I have put on a knife. It is really bold and has nice activity.

The handle is black micarta and white G-10. I milled the micarta and fit the g-10 in the recess, so the liner and bolster is actually one piece. It is shaped and sculpted to fit in the hand comfortably. It is held in place with pins and G-flex epoxy.

The sheath is 7-8oz hand tooled leather from Wickett and Craig. The knife fits well and draws easily.

Dimensions
Blade - 7 1/2" tip to handle
OAL - 13"

Price - $345 Shipped to US.

I have this posted elsewhere, so the first timestamp to say "I'll take it" gets it.

Hey Matt,

You have a good eye for design and your hamons are very attractive. Have you posted your technique for developing your hamons anywhere? It looks like you use FC but do you also use vinegar or lemon juice or something else? What are you using for the polishing stage?

Sold!

I4marc. I am using ferric. It's diluted. I haven't posted a step by step in a long time. Maybe I should consider it. Thanks.
