That is a beauty the hamon is something else, did you plan the heart toward the tip-outstanding---Regards Butch

I'm with Butch, I gotta know did you plan that heart in the hamon or did it just happen? Either way it is cool, it was the first thing I noticed about the blade. Nice overall fit and finish also.

hi All, the "heart" wasnt planned, but I do like it.

rprocter, by "cutting Bowie" I mean a Bowie that falls into the size reqiurements for a cutting knife by the ABS and Bladesports etc. When I make a "cutting" Bowie the blade will have more belly, shorter clip, and smaller guard.

Nobody really noticed the brownish grain running through the middle of the handle which is way cool. Everything about this blade is incredible.

If I would have had better light I could have got some good pics of the handle, it was rainy out and couldnt get any good pics of the wood. It has some real nice caramel colors running trough it, also the face of the guard is textured, maybe tommorow I can get some good pics.
