This is my 12th knife. This was a Nick Wheeler forged blank, normalized in salt baths. I clay coated and heat treated for the beautiful hamon. Heat treat was done at Delbert Ealy's in his HT oven, quenched in Parks #50 and 3 2 hour temper cycles at 400 degrees. Hand sanded to 2500 with a light etch to start. Handle is stabilized mutant redwood pin burl from Mark at Burl Source. Handle has been sanded to 1500, tung oil treated 3 times and hand rubbed with paste wax numerous times. It has been tested for edge toughness and cutting performance.
Specs are
Blade length: 9.75 inches
Handle length: 5.75 inches
Comes with a sheath made by my PiF leather guy, but can also include another one if wanted.

Price is $600 delivered conus insured. Paypal preferred, please email/PM for paypal information

Mike I have to say This knife almost didn't make it back to you... very comfortable and fast in the hand! Someone is going to be very Happy.

Thanks guys! I really busted butt putting this one together. It was my first hamon i ever did and had no idea how much work it is to use vinegar to etch a hamon lol. I am really happy with this one.
