Here is one I forged out between orders. This is some of Don Hanson's W2. The blade is flat ground and clay quenched for a nice vivid hamon. The flats have been left with forge scale.

The handle is professionally stabilized spalted sycamore. It is rounded and sculpted to fit the hand well. The tang is long, extending to within an inch of the butt of the knife. The guard, such as it is, is stainless.

The sheath is 8-9oz hand tooled leather from Wickett and Craig. The knife slips in easily and is held securely.

Dimensions
Blade - 4 7/8" tip to guard/bolster
OAL - 10"

Price - $275 shipped to US. I prefer paypal, but will accept check or money order.

The first to post here "I'll take it!" gets it.

It means you can see all the fine details of the Hamon, ie. the cloudiness of the transition line. I know there are fancy Japanese words for all of this but I don't know what they are.

Thanks for the explanation, sorry I neglected to comment on the excellent quality of this knife as well as others of yours that I have seen. Very , very nice work, both knife and leather.
