I am not really sure if this is exactly a "Bowie" but you get the general idea from it's shape.

It is Aldo's W2 steel, clay quenched for a nice hamon (see last few pics). The flats are left with the forge scale on them. I like how it looks and it helps prevent rust on the flat area. The spine is fileworked.

The handle is bias cut micarta. I have a fairly thick piece of micarta and I cut this from the edge. It has a different look than I have seen before, but it is still incredibly strong. It also has some nice coloring from what looks like aging of the micarta.

The sheath is 7-8oz hand stitched and hand tooled leather from Wickett and Craig. It holds the knife snugly but it can still be drawn easily.

Dimensions
Blade - 5 3/8" tip to handle
OAL - 10 1/8"

Price - $withdrawn shipped to US. I prefer paypal, but will accept check or money order.

The last picture makes the blade look a bit shorter than it actually is. It is just the angle I am using to photograph the knife.

That turned out amazing. That is some interesting coloring in the micarta.

Matt, great knife as always buddy. That Micarta is something else! I think almost anyone who wasn't told would have guessed it was some kind of hardwood. What a cool piece of Micarta, great colors and grain!

Thanks guys. Yeah, I like the looks of the micarta. I was able to buy a nice thick piece of it, and when I cut it on bias the first time I really liked how it looked like wood.
