hello everyone
this is a "ohhh i want to make one of those" knives. And yes, it was inspired by Don Hanson III's work. I hope to make another like it for Blade Show. it was also a test bed for a less traditional looking hamon. i love W2
the knife is defiantly a fighter, and is very light but powerful. It is razor sharp.

Specs:
15.25" OAL
10" blade
Tapered from 1/8 at the butt to just over 1/4 at the widest point, then distal tapered. the widest point is halfway through the knife for a very fluid balance.
1.25 blade width at widest point.
Carved Amboyna handle (hidden pins)
Wrought iron bolsters (hidden pins)
W2 steel, w/ active hamon

I was hoping to get SOLD $650 SOLD for this knife. But i also accept reasonable offers. I prefer paypal. Pleaase email me at Knifemaker87@gmail.com if you are intrested.

Hey-

Beautiful and inspired work.

I'm looking at this with my 5 day old son on my lap, so needless to say the money is nowhere to be seen right now, but I like this very nearly as much as my tanto. I couldn't imagine using that knife, but it looks very ready for use. BTW...Mason thanks you for the tanto...he really loves it.

Chris is an excellent maker and his stock is rising with every piece. Someone will be very happy with this blade.

Later,
Bill
