hello everyone
this is a "ohhh i want to make one of those" knives. And yes, it was inspired by Don Hanson III's work. I hope to make another like it for Blade Show. it was also a test bed for a less traditional looking hamon. i love W2
the knife is defiantly a fighter, and is very light but powerful. It is razor sharp.
Specs:
15.25" OAL
10" blade
Tapered from 1/8 at the butt to just over 1/4 at the widest point, then distal tapered. the widest point is halfway through the knife for a very fluid balance.
1.25 blade width at widest point.
Carved Amboyna handle (hidden pins)
Wrought iron bolsters (hidden pins)
W2 steel, w/ active hamon
I was hoping to get SOLD $650 SOLD for this knife. But i also accept reasonable offers. I prefer paypal. Pleaase email me at Knifemaker87@gmail.com if you are intrested.
thanks so much for looking
