Here is another W2 hidden tang. It is forged from some of Hanson's W2 and is left with forge scale on the flats. The blade is clay coated and quenched for a nice hamon. The spine of the blade has some simple rope filework.

The guard is linen micarta and the handle is cocobolo. The handle has facets and fits in the hand nicely. The blade is held in with a pin and with strong epoxy.

The sheath is 8-9oz hand stitched and tooled leather from Wickett and Craig. It holds the knife snugly and securely with the keeper strap, but allows it to be drawn with the flick of the thumb.

Dimensions
Blade - 5 3/4" tip to guard
OAL - 11"

Price - $345 shipped to US. I prefer paypal, but will accept check or money order.

The first to post here "I'll take it!" gets it.

Here are a few shots with different lighting to show off the hamon.

Thanks everyone.

Yeah, the handle with flat surfaces takes me about 3 times as long as a regular curved handle to sand, but I like the result. The individual facets are small enough that it doesn't create any real hotspots, but it looks stinkin cool. At least in my opinion.
