Here is another wrap knife. The steel is some of Aldo's W2, clay coated for a nice hamon. The flats are left with the forge scale, but the bevels are polished to 2000 grit to show some of the details of the hamon.

The handle is hemp soaked in Raka epoxy. I have used it before for boat building, and it is very tough and waterproof. This handle will not come off. I used a thinner strand of hemp that was darker. It looks black at first glance but it is actually a very deep brown. The turk's head knot is black leather.

The sheath is 7-8oz hand tooled leather. The knife fits well and draws easily.

Dimensions
Blade - just over 5 1/2" tip to knot
OAL - 10 1/2"

Price - $235 shipped. I prefer paypal, but will accept check or money order.

The first to post here "I'll take it!" gets it.

Wicked lookin blade

Looks like your getting ahang of the stitcher as well.

Thanks everyone.
Quint, yeah the sewing machine works great. I can't wait until sheath time now, and that is different from before.

Jim, sometimes I nail the hamon, sometimes the hamon nails me, (keep your minds clean) I happen to like how this one turned out, thanks for noticing. I like how you can see the white between the hardened and not so hard steel.

Thanks everyone.
Thank you especially, Aldo. Without your dedication to knifemakers, getting decent steel like this would be much more difficult.
