This one is forged from W2 from Mr. Hanson. It has been clay quenched for a nice and bold hamon. The flats have been left as forged, and the bevels are polished to 2000 grit. I like the contrast between the two, plus that 2000 grit finish really helps to reveal some of the details of the hamon.

The more I use my own camp knife with the wrapped handle, the more I like it. This one I used hemp cord. It looks much nicer than the jute I had used in the past, less fuzz. The "bolster" is leather tied in a turk's head knot. The whole thing is soaked in epoxy. I used Raka epoxy, which is similar to West systems. I used it to build a boat a while ago, and it really holds up well, plus it is waterproof.

The sheath is one of the first I have made with my new sewing machine. The stitches are nice and even and hold it all together securely. The knife fits well and draws easily. It is hand tooled.

Dimensions
Blade - 4 1/4" tip to knot.
OAL - 8 1/2"

Price - $225 shipped to US. I prefer paypal, but will accept check or money order.

The first to post here "I'll take it!" gets it.

How awesome is it using a machine for the stitching? I dream of the day! Lol I hate stitching by hand. How long did the machine take to stitch it? Seconds? Great job Matt. I love this knife

Thanks everybody.
10xx, it is yours.
Yeah, leethal. It would have normally taken me about 35 minutes to drill and hand stitch a sheath of that size. This one took me under a minute.
