I tried something new, this is a clayless hamon. I maintained careful control over my temps, and quenched in oil with no clay backing. It produced the nicest, cloudiest hamon I have yet to produce. I will be definitely using this method again.

The steel is some of Aldo's W2 and it has been hand forged to shape. I hand polished it to 2000 grit and etched it to bring out the character of the hamon. The tang is also tapered.

The handle is Arizona ironwood. It has some nice figure and is held in place with pins and G-Flex epoxy. I also remembered to include a lanyard hole in this one.

The sheath is 8-9oz hand tooled leather from Wickett and Craig. The knife fits snugly and draws easily. It is made for right hand carry.

Dimensions.
Blade - 4 5/8" tip to handle
OAL - 9 1/8"

Price - $265 shipped to US. I prefer paypal, but will accept check or money order.

The first to post here "I'll take it!" gets it.
