Here is one I forged from w2. It has been clay quenched for a nice hamon.
The guard is micarta and the handle is curly maple. I scorched the outside and sanded off the char for the nice dark finish. It has been oiled and sealed.
The sheath is 7-8oz hand tooled leather. The retention strap holds it in tightly.
