This is a piece of W2, cut off a 2 1/4" cylinder and forged out. It has been clay quenched for a nice bold hamon. The spine is fileworked. I left the flats with the forge scale, mostly because I like how it looks.

The handle is jigged bone. A friend gave it to me a while ago, and I have been waiting to try it. It isn't stag, obviously, but I like how it looks. It is kind of grippy and works well with the sheath. I did have to grind the pins a little irregularly in order to make them fit with the grooves of the jigging.

The sheath is 8-9 oz hand stitched and hand tooled leather. The knife fits well and draws easily.

Dimensions
Blade - 3 8/8"
OAL - 8 1/4"

Price $215 shipped to US. I prefer paypal, but will accept check or money order.

The first to post here "I'll take it!" gets it

I love your knives! But to be honest, if I had the money, I'd buy one because they come with an awesome sheath!! Your leather work is just top notch IMHO!!!

I have to add to the praise, I love your knives, I'm dying for one of these with Micarta. Funny note, I lived in Fredonia, NY and spent 6 months in Dunkirk, lots of fond memories. I hope to have one of your knives soon.

Love it, Matt! The heavily hammered flats look really good:thumbup:

One of these days, I need to learn how to use a pin, either standard or mosaic when using an uneven handle material. I imagine it's tough to get a smooth finish on the end of the pin without damaging the natural handle material. Nice work!!
