Kwaiken number 2! I love building these things. Blade sports a "zero" grind, the main bevels form the edge itself, and it is very very sharp. Epoxy impregnated ito wrap, ray skin handle, Turks head knot. Crowned spine.

Steel: W2 @ 62HRC
OAL: 10.5"
Blade: 5"
Handle: 5.5"
Thickness: .128"
Edge angle: about 8° total, formed by the main bevels

Beautiful work! I'm looking for a pocket edc just like this with a 3" blade but without the Turkish knot. Would you be interested in making one for me?

Nicely done Stuart. Your attention to edge geometry comes through when using your knives. They cut like a laser.

Thanks Mr Stroman!

Fanatic, I appreciate the thought but unfortunately at the moment I am full. I will keep your suggestion in mind for a future build, however, as a smaller kwaiken for EDC is something on my radar.

Hi Stuart. Beautiful all around. Can't stop thinking about that edge, especially with the 0.128" material thickness! I will take it. Heading out with my four legged son for a bit. Can settle up when I return. Thank you. Mike
