This is another of my pocket fixed blades(PFB). I have been making a lot of these lately, I have one more on the bench, then I am taking a break and making some larger knives.

I forged this from Aldo's W2 and clay coated it for a hamon. The tang is also slightly tapered as a result of the forging.

The handle is black linen micarta and cocobolo. It is held in place with G-flex epoxy and peened pins. I have had to remove a set of scales that were fastened with peened pins, and it took a lot of work with a hammer and chisel. The handle is also sculpted for a nice comfortable grip.

The sheath is my PFB design. I made it to clip in the right hand pocket. It is hand tooled leather from Wickett and Craig and is also lined with upholstery leather. The knife slides in nice and snugly.

Dimensions
Blade - 3 5/8" tip to handle
OAL - 7 1/2"

Price - $195 shipped to US. I prefer paypal, but will accept check or money order.
The first to post here "I'll take it!" gets it.

Your knives are always among my favorites that show up here. Beautiful work. Your knives seem as though they can be used as well as appreciated. That's a very fine line to dance on.

Thanks Schleifstein. I want my knives to look good enough to be safe queens, and be tough enough to be put through the paces.

Matt sometimes I wish u werent such a good person cause then maybe ud stop teaching and bless us with knives full time! Honesty you could make full time but the fact you continue to teach those that you do proves that not only that your are a wonderful knife maker but a great human being as well! God bless and beautiful work as usual!
PS I can't wait for that camp knife ;)

Thanks everyone.
Lain, the knife is forged out and ready for finish grinding. Forging has been a bit uncomfortable, the temperature in my shop gets about 100 which is not much fun. But it is forged and ready for the next step.

My thoughts exactly. So well executed. I always look forward to seeing your next offering

Curses! I was too slow!
I only recently discovered your knives, and having looked around for months very thoughtfully trying to decide on a knife, or a knife maker for an order, I am really blown away by your work.
Your knives are breath taking. I will have one.
Please please let me know if you start taking orders again in the near future. I am very patient.
