Here is one I forged from Don Hanson's W2. It has been clay quenched for a nice hamon. I polished it to 2000 grit to bring out the details. The blade is a razor.

The handle is bias cut canvas micarta. It is shaped nicely to fit the hand and is held together with G-flex epoxy and micarta pins, along with one mosaic.

The sheath is 7-8oz hand tooled leather from Wickett and Craig. The knife slips in nicely and holds securely.

Dimensions
Blade - 3" tip to handle
OAL - 6 1/4"

Price - $195 shipped to US. I prefer paypal, but will accept check or money order.

I have this posted elsewhere, so the first timestamp saying "I'll take it!" gets it.

superb design and execution. two questions: what's the hrc on that w2? what's the in-sheath thickness?

W2 is about 62 at the edge. It will cut and cut. It is about 3/4"at the thickest part in the sheath.

Sold, but have to comment.

Matt, you are a master crafstman. Every knife you offer here is a bit more beautiful than those before it.

Superb Work!

She arrived this morning! Thanks matt! She is gorgeous, perfectly melting into my hand. I was concerned about in pocket thickness but that seems no trouble at all. And the hamon lines with the mirror edge, oh my!

this made my weekend, thanks again matt!

Very nice 99, i like it. Do you use it alot? I plan to use it mostly for rope, i hope the 62rc will stay sharp on tek kevlar line. Ive been using a hinderer elmax, and its great, but heavy in the pocket for what im doing with it.
