This one is forged from Aldo's W2. The blade has a slight convex grind on it from a rotary platen. It has been clay quenched for a nice hamon. I tried a slightly different step in my finishing technique to make the hamon visible almost all the time.

The handle is some curly mesquite I have had laying around for several years. It has some natural worm holes in it, but they have all been filled with epoxy. It is finished with truoil and buffed to a nice semi gloss. It is held in place with pins and acraglas.

The sheath is my pocket sheath design. It is made to be clipped in the right hand pocket. The knife draws well and is held securely. I know a lot of people love folders, and they are cool. However, with a knife like this, as soon as it is drawn, it is ready. It is just one of the advantages of the pocket fixed blade.

Dimensions
Blade - 3 1/2" tip to handle
OAL - 7 1/2"

Price - $195 shipped to US. I prefer paypal, but will accept check or money order

The first to post here "I'll take it!" gets it

WOW.
That is a great hamon. Very cool little knife.

It is yours textex777. Send me an email, and I will get you the payment information.

Thanks
Leethal, I changed my sanding steps. I sand after dips in the ferric, but the last one I only leave in for a few seconds and then leave the finish as is.

The knife is truly a work of art & craftsmanship as per usual but Man O' Man Matt - your sheaths are going off the hook Brother !!! Outstanding !!!
