Here is a forged W2 recurve fighter. The blade has been clay quenched for a nice hamon. It is some of Don Hanson's W2 so the hamon really shows a lot of figure. It has been polished to 200 grit then etched. The spine has been radiused for comfort.
The handle is wrapped and soaked in boat building epoxy. It is very durable and provides a nice grip. It is also quite lightweight and comfortable.
The sheath is 7-8oz hand tooled leather from Wickett and Craig. The knife draws nicely and fits snugly.
