This is Hanson's W2, forged into a recurve hunter design. The blade has been ground on my rotary platen for a grind somewhere between flat and convex. It has been hand polished to 2000 grit and etched to bring out the nice hamon.
The handle is Cocobolo. It is faceted and feels comfortable in the hand. It is held in place with pins and G-flex epoxy.
The sheath is 7-8oz hand tooled leather from Wickett and Craig. The sheath fits the knife nicely, as it was designed for this knife specifically.
