This is some of Hanson's W2. It was forged out and flat ground. It was clay quenched and hand polished to 2000 grit to bring out the hamon.

The handle is natural canvas micarta with black micarta bolsters, held in place with pins and G-flex epoxy. It fits the hand well and is comfortable.

The sheath is 7-8oz hand tooled leather from Wicket and Craig. It is made specifically for this knife and fits it like a glove.

Dimensions
5" tip to handle
OAL - 9 1/2"

Price - $275 shipped to US. I will ship internationally for an additional fee.

I will have this posted elsewhere, so the first timestamp to say "I'll take it!" gets it.

This one is sold. Thanks for looking. Madcap, I really prefer working with carbon steel's because it allows me to do more forging.

Damn, that's got to be one of the finest looking blades I've ever seen. One of these days I have pick up one of your blades, the last few I've seen have just been amazing.
