This is some of Aldo's W2. It has been forged thinner and the blade has been left with forge scale on the flats, mostly because I like it. The blade has been clay quenched and it has a very bold hamon. The spine is also fileworked.

The handle is mesquite. I was given some mesquite a while ago and to use on a handle. I researched it and found that it is one of the best woods for dimensional stability (it doesn't move). It is held in place with regular pins and one mosaic, along with acraglas.

The sheath is 8-10oz leather from Wickett and Craig. It is hand stitched and tooled. The knife fits snugly and draws easily.

There is an "in the hand shot" but here are dimensions anyways.

Dimensions
Blade - 5 7/8"
OAL - 10 1/2"

Price - $no longer available. I prefer paypal, but will accept check or money order.

The first to post here "I'll take it!" gets it.

Thanks, the hamon really popped on this one. I have put one on about every knife I have made in the last 3 years, and sometimes I hit it, and sometimes it is not as bold. For some reason, this one is very clear. I wish I had the formula to do this every time, I try to mimic my every move with each knife, and sometimes it is on, and sometimes...well, it is still there, just not as vivid.
