I forged this from some of Aldo's W2. It has been clay quenched for a nice hamon, then polished to 1500 grit to bring out the details.
The handle is Ironwood. The bolster is made from black Warwood. It is made from corn, I believe. It is quite strong and stable. I did some testing on it before using it, and it held up quite well. The handle has been sculpted and shaped to fit the hand well and is held in place with pins and G-flex epoxy.
The sheath is 7-8oz leather from Wickett and Craig. It is hand tooled and it holds the knife nicely, yet lets it draw easily.
Dimensions
Blade - 4 1/2" tip to handle
OAL - 8 7/8"
Price - $275 shipped to US. I prefer paypal, but will accept check or money order.
The first to post here "I'll take it!" gets it.
