“Standard” Bowie, forged from W2 round bar, the blade measures 9” x 1-3/4” wide x 5/16” thick. Convex edge, sharp clip, double quinch and triple temper heat treat. Differntially hardened using clay, with very active and visible hamon. Overall length is 14”, with a Black Walnut handle that I made to be “concealable”, tried to make the handle as trim as possible and yet still appropriately support the 9” blade, wanted a Bowie that packs alot of punch but that can be carried without great effort for extended periods of time.
Ive cut with it a bit around the shop, and the goal of having that compact yet “big” cutting Bowie was met in this one with ease.
Price is $550 as shown, with soft case, or $600 with Wickett & Craig leather sheath.
