Here is another wrap knife. The steel is some of Aldo's W2, clay coated for a nice hamon. The flats are left with the forge scale, but the bevels are polished to 2000 grit to show some of the details of the hamon.

The handle is hemp soaked in Raka epoxy. I have used it before for boat building, and it is very tough and waterproof. This handle will not come off. I used a thinner strand of hemp that was darker. It looks black at first glance but it is actually a very deep brown. The turk's head knot is black leather.

The sheath is 7-8oz hand tooled leather. The knife fits well and draws easily.

Dimensions
Blade - just over 5 1/2" tip to knot
OAL - 10 1/2"

Price - $215 shipped. I prefer paypal, but will accept check or money order.

The first to post here "I'll take it!" gets it.

I am actually away from home right now so I cant actually measure the thickness, but the steel is just under a quarter inch and I put leather strips under the wrap to add some thickness. Then the thickness of the actual hemp wrap. I would estimate somewhere in the area of 1/2" maybe 5/8". I can measure it when I get home
