Sometimes I really hit the jackpot on hamons. Here is one of those times. This is some of Aldo's W2, heat treated with clay to show a stunning hamon. The blade was hand polished to 2000 grit and etched to bring out the details.

The handle is wrapped in hemp cord and then overwrapped in a japanese style with black. There are leather spacers underneath to improve the feel in the hand. The whole thing is soaked in boatbuilding epoxy. It is incredibly tough and waterproof.

The sheath is 8-9oz hand tooled leather from Wickett and Craig. The knife fits nice and snugly.

Dimensions
Blade - 6 3/4" tip to knot
OAL - 12"

Price - $245 shipped to US. I prefer paypal, but will accept check or money order.

The first to post here "I'll take it!" gets it.

Wow. Really nice.

Is the wrap a new thing for you? You really did it in a distinctive way.
