I have done several wrap handles so far, and this one is my favorite by a long shot. The blade was forged from a bar of W2, clayed for heat treating and polished to give it a nice hamon.
The handle is epoxy soaked hemp with a leather turks head knot as a "bolster". I used leather under the wrap to give it some thickness so it fits better in the hand. I used Raka epoxy, which is boatbuilding epoxy I used when making my last canoe. It is waterproof and quite durable.
The sheath is 8-9oz hand tooled leather. The knife fits well and draws easily.
Dimensions
Blade - 4" tip to knot
OAL - 8 1/2"
Price - $235 shipped to US. I prefer paypal, but will accept check or money order.
The first to post here "I'll take it!" gets it.
