I'm much more drawn to the asymmetric patterns such as the serpentine (perfect) stockman above, or say the teardrop jack, than I am to the symmetric patterns such as equal ends. Equal-end senators are OK for dress knives, but there's nothing like serpentine or trapper or especially teardrop patterns to make me stand up and take notice. Even the Barlows grab me in that way.
STeven, LOVE the color of that bone. It's very distinctive and the crisp jigging really makes it stand out. :thumbup:
..... but if we buy a knife that is purt'near perfection we will reap benefits. I believe I will order one tonight.....
