I was just wondering about the Wagner Urban Survival knife, including specs (in inches, open) if possible, and any pictures would also be great. Thanks for your constant innovation!

I bought one and promptly returned it. It would have been a great knife, but the blade is chisel ground. I know, reprofile, but there isn't a lot of steel there to begin with. Other than that it is a clever little knife.

All of the Wagner knives are chisel ground.
Like Emerson's that also are chisel ground, they are ment for self defense and not utility.

Why would a chisel ground edge work any better for self defense than a traditionally double ground edge?

The chisel grind is not a problem for me. I want one of these, and I hadn't noticed they came out already. (Thanx for the head's up!) Does anyone know what steel they're using? The link doesn't say.

Go back to your light sabre! Any ninja would know the answer to that without having to ask! :)

You sir, have insulted the wrong ninja this time! I hereby challenge you to a duel at the mall of your choosing- I will be there with my full complement of Maxpedition man-purses and of course, my Arc AAA keychain light. You have been warned, be on your guard!

oh boy, it is ON :D

that is a wicked looking tool!

I have two Arc AAA keychain lights, and a Maxpedition MPB. Meet me at the food court: you're toast!

Aha! You have given me advance notice of your capabilities! Having this foreknowledge, I will retire in secret and prepare like any self-respecting ninja. We will meet again after I finish my Cold Steel Fighting Sarong DVD course. This is not over!

Just a little bump here to let everyone know I was/am kidding, right? All in good fun. I kind of feel like I was in the cell phone commercial when the guy gets cut off after making a sarcastic joke but thinks he got hung up on, you know what I... hello? HELLO? ahem

Well, you may be kidding, but I got my knife and it's a neat little toy. I don't know about cutting up food with it, but it is a nice Exacto substitute. The grip is great and either end would make a decent impact weapon.

I really, really liked the design of this knife, especially the form factor. I liked the lock-up, and the build of it. I just couldn't get past the (dull) chisel grind. I guess it makes it more aggravating that everything about this knife is great (to me) except the most important part- the blade. Hopefully I'm just the exception and the majority of people like it!

I have used the RBB Urban pretty hard and performed more than well.
I have cut open several boxed, cut several meters of plastic foil, cut on carpet, used it like a scalpel for precise cutting...

ok, it does not look as new anymore, but hey, it is made for using!!!
