Wait 'til you See What Is Coming Next!!!

I certainly hope so. I've been looking forward to this one for a while.

Just out of curiosity, what will that knife do that a badger attack tac won't?

in the first iteration, there were only a few differences.

the tank buster was taller and with a recurve. that meant that there was significantly more belly, slightly more forward balanced, and would have slightly higher prying/digging capacity because of height of the blade (think spade).

in a magnum edition the weight forward would be increased making it more suitable for chopping tasks.

recurves combined with choils, to me, are only made worse by adding serrations. like doing spinouts by a cliff. I'll be interested to see what the new additions to the design are.

Is the MarcoBolo that old? I remember it from not to long ago and Jerry did say an old prototype, then again I don't really remember.

I was hoping to see some late night pics like the KZ, but I can't wait it out any longer, not tonight, not enough drinks..

You know, I think it's kind of funny the amount of hatred people spew towards Busse knives on some of those other subforums....

I mean, there are lots and lots of Busse knives that I won't buy, because I simply don't like them, don't like their prices, or don't think I'd ever use them...

But how can you hate a knife company that offers a lifetime warranty against any breakage, gets excited when you beat the crap out of their knives, and is run by a guy who will buy dinner and drinks for a whole restaurant full of customers?

The Busse crew are all amazingly nice people, as was proved to me first hand at BLADE last weekend, and I really do a facepalm when I see the attitudes some folks have towards a knife company. I'll never get all the bitterness and vitrol.

There are some companies (people) that like to promote themselves, and through self-promotion gain loyal followings.. With Good Product, Good Stories, Good Salesman ship.. Busse knives are not for everyone, and Busse Sales tactics are certainly not for everyone.. they drive me crazy.. but there is no doubt in my mind that they back the product, and the owners.

There are others that like to tear down the walls of the competition through subtle forums tactics, and Demoralization against other companies, rather than raise their own selves high. Some like to raise themselves high, but think its not enough, and still need to disparage another product.. Its just the way of the world..

I find that ignoring bad remarks about a company, leaves the Author with no Audience, and as such, no means to gain a foothold. By retaliating to bad taste comments, if simply feeds a fire and lends credence to the stupidity.

Busse are great knives.. not perfect.. none are.. but great.. like many companies.. I'm proud of all 3 Busses I own.. even the ones I had to customize..

NOW WHERE THE HECK are THE PHOTOS.! Did I mention the marketing Drives ME CRAZY!!! LoL

I want a Busse Axe that makes the cover art of Molly Hatchett look tame!

I wouldn't care what the shop calls it... I would call mine the Jerry Axe!!

If I remember correctly the blade was about the same lenght as in batac, but as Jerry is talking about magnum version - it should be longer - I think 6 in - something like a stronger and sturdier Satin Jack Tac (I hope sabre ground)
