Oh yeah. I have had contact with them. They are having issues with the anodizing, issues with the blade manufacturer. Will ship by Feb 15. Nothing..Contacted them about status. Stated they havent heard from the blade manufacturer or anodizer and will email them to find out what the issue was. A week later called them back and they said nothing had come in yet and that they would let me know when they hear something. I purchased knife at the end of Nov for Christmas. They assured me it would be here before Christmas. I called two weeks prior to Christmas to find out status. They stated they would try to get it out by then but there was no guarantee. I was disappointed but I knew the Christmas rush was probably the reason. No problem. What about sometime in Jan? " Were having problems with the anodizing " they said . Ok, these things happen. The end of Jan rolled around no knife. Called and they said it would be shipped by the middle of Feb. Feb 15th to be exact. Feb 20th roles around. No knife. Thats when they said they would email and find out the problem. They left it at that. We will contact you when we find out something..Wow, thats kindve vague. And thats where I am today. I called and asked what the refund policy was. They said they would give me a refund but I was just wondering if any body elso has had any issues like this. It seems like a good company and I don't want to get a refund but dang how long am I supposed to wait. I can pull the trigger on a Grayman SATU right now. The Gunhammer looks like a sweet knife.I might just go ahead and get a refund and then order one when they are actually in. Decisions decisions.
That is definitely a bummer, the details help to clear up questions for sure. I mean, if the knife is a full custom and not an HTM, it would definitely take a while. But being an HTM, it's getting to be quite the wait I agree. I own a green anodized HTM GH2.0 and it's a very cool knife. It is the strongest AO knife I own, flies open like a rocket. Tough call, but I would wait at least another week or so. Try sending DR a message or email directly.
