Waiting on my HEST

For the rest of you guys that ordered your HEst, have you gotten them already. I ordered mine approx 1 week ago. When I check the website it states just processing. Any clue on how long it takes? I thought they were already made. Maybe I am wrong:grumpy:

Guess just over anxious to get the knife:D

Mine took ten days from order to arrival, and mine is still "processing" according to their website just now. :D
 
They say it takes 10 Days. I can't take the wait, Its like Christmas in July:D

As for breathing... just an afterthought... Ok I guess I wiil keep occupied with my RC 3 and Izula,

Or I could just buy a RC 4 and RC 5 to pass the time:eek: Cant seem to Find a RC 6 anywhere. Are they making them yet?

I am waiting on my Rc-6 as well.
I check the mail here everyday, i also have everyone warned that im expecting a very very important package.
I am un-sure if my knife falls into the after 8-7 catagory?
but man-o-man.... i will just be happy that i recieve it, i am very thankful that i will be getting one at all. its really humbling to have someone or a group act in such a generious manner. i cant wait to be one of the many cutting shit up with that knife.
 
Crowdog, your RC-6 has been shipped via UPS. You should be getting it any time now.

I emailed RYP asking what the hold up is on shipping HEST knives. Will let you know when I find out.

Uhm, I did not mean for someone to ask the guy, I was just wondering what the typical wait time was like. Just a bit to eager I am...:cool:
 
The book signing part I think is the biggest reason for the wait. Maybe they wait for a certain amount of orders and take the books to RYP to make him sign them then only then they ship it. Lets just say that they aren't gone hurt themselves overspeeding :). Jeff don't you need to wait for the serialized HESTs to be completely sold before you send the unnumbered ones to the retailers ?

Ok, people are asking what takes so long... well first of all you are buying something that I personally have to sign. Not just your certificate but I have to put yer damn name in my damn book. Not that I mind, but its kinda hard to do from Yemen, Somalia or Afghanistan. So when I am in town I give all the orders a Sharpie attack and then have the elves ship them out. If you want impersonal, non-numbered knives then wait for Jeff to ship the nameless, souless, bookless version of the RAT DPx H•E•S•T knives and I will bet the dealer won't even give you a reach around for waiting a full month or two. But I guarantee you will kick yourself when you see the dealer price.... sans book, sans number, sans certificate etc. The whole idea is to give folks a fair price for a great knife.

Well, come to think I won't give you a reach around either but the point here is that these are personally signed, limited edition knives. Its not like we knew who was going to buy them and had them preprinted at Kinkos. When I am dead you will won't even remember the wait.

So if you want something fast just order a ginzu knife set off late night TV and impress your friends... but if you want a real knife, designed by a real person who really had attractive ladies pack it nicely and shipped it to you with love and care... you might have to hold yer breath for an extra week or so. It takes about two - three weeks for domestic orders. But since you are getting free shipping you shouldn't really complain. Ok you can complain buy you will have to yell real loud so I can hear you in Kabul. ;)

We are over half sold out in just a few weeks so if you were thinking of getting that numbered knife you betta hustle.

hahaha i think we are giving you a hard time more then any thing RYP. great knife cant wait to finish up some of my other books to get to read the book that came with it. Thankfuly for me i got an email when i ordered mine that you were outta town so i figured i it would be a wait. but you know how waiting for something you want to show up is. keep up the good work , cant wait to see what else comes outta this.
