Alright everyone, I just ordered a Mora 2000 from Ragweed's! This'll be my first scandi grind, so I'd better be impressed considering all the pro-mora threads I've read! Anyway, I'm excited about it, and in the meantime, do me a favor and post pics of your Mora!!

:D:cool::D

So I haven't even received the knife yet (in fact I just ordered it about 2 hours ago), but I think I've already decided that I don't like the plastic leather-look-alike sheath that comes with it. Anyone have links to aftermarket sheath options for the M2K?

Normark, or make your own leather one like I did. This is my #510 with cordwrapped handle and leather sheath. Is the 2000 a true scandi grind though? I don't own one so I haven't seen it up close. I know the angle changes towards the tip, which is odd, but is the edge otherwise scandi grind? The other two knives are Moras that I rehandled.

Alright, so I got my Mora (love it so far by the way) and I was definitely right, I do not like the stock sheath at all. Normark? Can anyone supply a link for me? I cant seem to find anything on google about Normark Sheaths....?

I have a carbon clipper that I really loved, so I ordered one of the classic wood handled ones - MAN these things are petite! very slim, sleek knife - I could wear this thing around my neck!

Very good knives, you won't be dissepointed.

dude, if you want a KICK BUTT leather sheath for your mora 2k, google JRE leather and you will see an AMAZING sheath.

I've had the pleasure of handling several of their sheaths in a passaround and they are without a doubt some of the best.

Also, if you don't mind sending the knife off, contact ilbruche. He's amazing with leather and he is great to deal with. You can see one sheath he did for my PSK in Scott Gossman's forum under the picture thread.

Good luck!

Brett
