Waki sharpening?

What is the best way to sharpen a long blade? I don't sweat having a great uniform edge on a machete but, just scored a waki and would like to treat it better than a $15 machete.

Good question, I used a 600 grit ceramic rod on mine. But that was only after some light use. I would be lost if any reprofiling was needed.

I been thinking about a belt sander just to sharpen all my busse kin,Problem is ,,it seems to me theres always a Busse kin knife for sale I have to have.This keeps me from buying the sander,,always broke buying Jerry's knives!!!!!!!

Know exactly what you mean I ordered a second Tank Buster and want both a belt sander and a BWM. $$$
