Hello

My waki is on order!

I am planning on using it for brush clearing. It looks perfect for that. I also hope to replace my woodmans pal with it. I use the woodmans pal to cut and baton firewood while camping. I am wondering if the waki is siuted for this as well because I will sell the woodmans pal if the waki can handle it.

all opinions appreciated!

The waki can certainly handle batoning, but there are better suited blades for the job IMHO. The waki has a lot of flex, and is pretty crazy long, so it's not as easy to baton with. Since we're talking Rats, a nice chopweiler or battle rat or camp tramp would be a much better firewood processing blade, IMHO.

There are also a lot of awesome blades from Scrap Yard for the job, at lower prices - can't go wrong with a Dogfather or Son of Dogfather.

The Waki is great for brush clearing and it will wear out a 4" green tree while you talk on your cellphone!

Cell phone?

I thought you would have at least tried using it while have a sandwich and a beer?
