Good afternoon! Recent wrist injury means I’m no longer able to deploy this very nice example of a custom-forged sword. Slightly longer than a traditional wakizashi at 21” blade (tip to tsuba) and 32” overall, the .250” thick 5160 blade is 1.375” at the tallest point. Leather wrap over ray skin, bronze finish menuki and tsuba. Balance is slightly tip heavy at 4” in front of guard; modern leather slip saya is for blade protection only with no provision for carry, and covers only the blade itself (see photo). Never carried nor cut with- blade is still sharp from the maker (some sharpening marks still faintly visible).
