Wakizashi - my first sword

Stuart,

This is marvelous. The hamon is a thing of beauty, and the tsuba a delight by itself. I'm happy to see you re-do the handle, bringing it more into proportion.

You're making such giant steps along the road, it's a little scary, but inspiring as well.

Stuart,
I have to say I am very impressed with your versatility.
Either you are very talented with each new piece being an impressive work of art
....... or there is a pile of failed projects we never hear about proving you are human.
Either way, all of your finished projects I have seen lately are very impressive.
Keep up the great work and thank you for posting all the great photos.

That's quite impressive.

Nice sword, I like it!

kind regards,

Jos

Thanks for the comments. I appreciate it.

Mark, I think the trick is adapting and working around the "mistakes". Maybe it's from woodworking but one makes the "mistakes" look like they were done on purpose. :p:p:p

Saves a lot of $$ on time and steel :D:)

But as you saw here, a 5 hour handle wrap torn apart and redone... thankfully the second attempt only took 2 1/2 hours.
