like it....there's a lot of sori in tha waki....
I prefer traditional fittings myself....altho' that mokume is nice too. habaki looks great. how much does a similar habaki cost?
I'm no great authority but Phillip is the mokume master in my book. The blank has been with the artisan who's going to carve it and I feel like I'm missing a knife from my collection.
Samuel Rediske created the habaki for me for about a couple of hundred dollars, if I remember correctly. He didn't finish the shirasaya to final dimensions since I was hoping to use it for the mount, but it was a real nice tight fit.
