D. Hoskins is bladesmith from KY who was known for providing chisel tanto combat knives to the US Military for years and this piece is a custom sword version of the knife he specialized in. He has also published books and videos on knife making.

Incredible hand rubbed satin blade finish with zero rust or corrosion, very sharp.
Perfectly done japanese handle wrap with ray skin, super durable and will last forever.
Cocobolo scabbard. The sword slides in and out of the sheath with perfect fit and there is almost no play which is rare. Really well done sheath.
