RANT mode on!
How can you have a sale that starts at 8 PM yet give out all the arm bands at 5 PM. The one hour guarantee was not on what the ads said they were on. The scum bucket of a store called wal mart will not get a dime of my money this Christmas. Went to the local independent Sears store and was in and out with just as good of a deal on my daughters TV in about 20 min. Now to find a good deal on a lap top for my son. That may be a problem sense all the stores did the sales at the same time this year.
 
Well that really sucks man, I hate that they never have enough cashiers open. I skip out on the black friday.
 
I try not to patronize stores that have their black friday sales on Thursday. Takes employees from their families. I'm sure they are compensated for it, its just nice to be with family on the actual day.
 
Yeah, I don't see how they think they are going to make more just by moving it up a day. To get a chance to get what I was after I would have had to be there around 3 pm and that was not going to happen. They can keep the stuff,I hate giving cash but I will if they keep making it this hard to shop.
At least I made it easy for my wife when she asked what I wanted,sent a link to a Sebenza I want. Just click and wait on the mailman.

thank you, my wife works at one of the retailers and had to go in at 745 this evening. i am glad i am in banking/finance, i am one of few who will work wed and fri this week.
 
You are braver than I am going into a Wally World today. I wouldn't even feel safe with all my Busse choppers with me. The only proof you need that Zombies are real is to go to a Wally World past 10 PM and there are all kinds of walking dead people everywhere.

Black Friday is really just sad when you see all the videos on the news about it. I try to avoid going out on Black Friday which now is Black Thursday as well. People are even skipping Thanksgiving to get in line for Black Friday. It is really just sad.
 
There would have to be some pretty amazing deal to draw me out on Black Friday. Hell, I'll gladly pay more for something if it means I can order it online and have it delivered to my door so I don't have to deal with those animals.

Haha.

I hate saying this, but the past few days have been expensive. Taking advantage of free shipping from certain places, and finding blow out sales on some items that are prices below my cost direct or by distributor, plus free shipping :o

I hope some place will be having a blow out sale on some 150gr .30-06 ammo for 10 cents each, I'd be one happy man

Believe me, I'm well aware of the cost. That's why I'm hoping for a blow out sale. Maybe Palmetto State Armory would loose so much they'd go under :)
 
3-4 years back, I picked up abut 2K rounds of Greek surplus HXP M2 Garand ammo from the CMP. Still have most of it. About 1K is in sealed spam cans, the rest is in .30 caliber cans in clips and bandoleers. It was somewhere around 60-65 cents per round shipped I think which was cheap at the time. They still have some left now, but it's all loose in cans with mixed head stamps and its a 60-120 day wait to get your order processed.

Worth a look if you absolutely need some 30-cal and don't mind waiting for it to ship, and realize that a 10-cent sale probably will be as rare as hens teeth.
 
That does seem high for Greek, most of the surplus seems to go for 50 cents a pop, or at least seemed to.

And again, trust me, I know 10 cents a round is a pipe dream. Hell, there's only 1 brassed case .30-06 that I know of that's 70 cents a round dealer cost.

A man can have a pipe dream, can't he?
