Very nice John! The handles are in such beautiful condition. That massive bolster probably provided great lateral blade strength and rigidity. And that shield just tops the whole affair off very smartly:thumbup::thumbup: thanks for sharing, Lloyd.
 
So I missed this thread how? You'd a thunk with a Jack that BIG I'd have seen this long before now:D

Neat knife, Augie. At 4 1/16" with a large bolster that's a serious chunk of antique American cutlery. Those old jumbo jacks are a real treat.
