Nice pics and welcome to the sharing.

Nice looking gear. How do you like that TOPS?

Glad the day was productive!

Nothing like long walks in pursuit of grouse to pass the day and fray the nerves.

Good looking setup:cool:

Welcome and thanks for sharing

the pasayten is a great knife.

thinner stock, flat grind, easy steel to sharpen, and the sheath works well for my purposes. versatile little knife

i usually carry a f1 this time of year, but its hard not to grab the pasayten :)

Welcome to bladeforums!

Nice pics and nice knife! Never seen that one before, who makes it?
Looks like a good day and nice time. I have family in MN (unfortunately they are all in-laws). You are far too thin to be my brother-inlaw :D See you around!

kgd, the knife is made by TOPS

brians, the backpack is a Lightfighter R.A.I.D. pack

Welcome to WSS! That's a great first post. Thanks much for sharing one of your hangouts, looks great in the winter.

I've been checking out that pasayten more and more, TOPS came up with a winner there it looks like.

Thanks Dodubb, great pics and great gear choices. I miss knocking down those birds - gotta get out again.

welcome to bladeforums...

thanks for the pics... they're great... looks cold...:o nice looking gear too BTW... i'm glad to see a Pasaytan out in the woods... i still need to pick one of those up... they seem like great all around woods knives... i like the wide blade...:)

Ha ha, I was staring at your knife so closely at first trying to identify it. I even up the magnification on the screen. Didn't even notice it was lying on top of your kill! Nice shooting. Not much anything better then breast of grouse cooked on a stick in a fire.

Nice shooting. Tops makes some excellent knives and that looks like a winner of a design. Simple and comfy. How does is feel in your hand?
