Walking Dead Season 5 (HEADS UP: Possible Episode Spoilers May Be Posted Within)

For those who haven't read the comics, the scene with Abraham and the soup can takes on a bigger significance. Lifted right from the comics, the show gave the impression that he and his family were initially hiding out inside a market when the undead rose up and started to walk. And, that those four men stumbled upon their hiding place. Being desperate, they likely threatened his family. Abraham fought back and killed them to protect his family.

In truth, those four other men were the initial group that Abraham and his family were a part of. Friends, neighbors, non-family whom Abraham and his loved ones had known for years. They banded together at the start of this. Abraham was out on a supply run. When he returned, he found that the others had "violated" his family. Enraged at the horrific betrayal, Abraham killed them.

This also relates to Michonne's tale when Andrea asks her about their walker escorts. Michonne hints that her brother and fiance had done something to deserve what they got. But she never goes into detail about it.
 
I am thinking poor copy of the Team G. Someone posted a pic a while back of some screwed up looking knife Daryl was suppose to be using this season. Must have been true. Maybe Busse did have a product placement deal with them and have now pulled out.
 


I've been holding onto two theories since I saw this "knife" a few months ago.

1. The audience isn't supposed to know the difference. It is just a poor stunt copy. The sharpie on the blade should have been ground out. The sharpie on the handle is supposed to simulate the black lines on the G10.

2. Daryl misses his TG and hand made a copy of it.
 
Wonder when they will replace Ricks Colt with a Highpoint hoping no one notices.

Waiting for Daryll to admit he's gay.. He's had plenty of opportunity with Carol and Beth.. can't see hitting Carol but Beth? I'd been all over that..

I've come to the realization that when you go three straight episodes without beast mode Rick it's not TWD anymore...

I sure hope not (not that there is anything wrong with that). My guess is he was leaning toward hitting on Beth but had moral dilemnas because of her age and the fact she was like a little sister to the group. As far as Carol goes, well .....

Have you ever looked across a crowded bar and said, wow, look at the wisdom and maturity on that one? :-) Technically Beth is 27 IRL.

I don't get why the show gave him a look-a-like knife. If Busse pulled out of product placement.... Then just let Daryl find a new knife somewhere. Make it something that's generic. (Like Carol's knuckle duster knife.) Why pretend it's the same one? Makes no sense at all.

Also.... Well, now we know Carol isn't faking her injuries just to infiltrate the hospital.
 
Having seen a commercial for a new movie with Lauren Cohen in it, I guess it doesn't look good for Maggie.:(

I told you guys that either Glenn or Maggie were going to die. Then again, she could have acted in the film during the off-season. (And The Walking Dead's off-season is pretty fricking huge actually. :mad:)
