Walking Dead Season 5 (HEADS UP: Possible Episode Spoilers May Be Posted Within)

what is up with the knife Daryl has

The knife looks home-made. Perhaps this represents the best-efforts attempt by Daryl to craft the best knife that he could to replace his favorite, but lost, knife. A country boy will survive and this knife, although not pretty, gets the job done and pays homage to his lost knife.

Wanna be Father Gabriel is messed up in the cranium, and a waste of oxygen, Sasha should have killed him. I have a feeling he wont last long next season. ....since Sasha and Maggie both know who he is.

I'm thinking the opposite. He'll last much too long and cause havock. One bad scenario would be him starting some kind of a cult.... Ouch!!!!

Man, I thought Glenn was a goner for sure!
Glenn always manages to get it done when the chips are down. Just like when the governor put a walker into the interrogation room while he was tied to a chair. Squirrely little bugger has heart and can scrap with the best of 'em.

Since I read the comics, this episode was 77 in the Comics, and it wasn't a huge surprise, Liked the Cliffhanger
Morgan seeing what has become of Rick, they're Polar opposites since they last talked in Season 3

Negan will definitely appear in the season 6 finale, it matches with the Comics in "No Way Out"
Lots lots lots of people die in that chapter...

Apparently one of their big fixed blade was in the Carol's box along with an FBM and Argonne Assault (it looks like).

The last knife at the very top.

They have a location or dealer in Atlanta, so they got in on the show somehow. I do not like how the show changed Daryl's knife

I'm sorry...but that knife looks like doo doo......They could have given him a totally different blade style altogether but, no they had to give him a look alike TGLB. .....I want TGLB back.

I just don't get why they would go for a lookalike knife. Something happened for sure.
They could, simply, have gone with a totally different design.

Master knifemaker? What a joke. That thing is ridiculously retarded. And I mean that quite literally... the metal handle looks to be about a 1/4" thick and they slapped a secondary edge suitable angle with NO primary bevel. I don't care if they were going for an "apocalypse look", that doesn't mean it cant be an actual knife. Well on the bright side it might work as a cheese grater:rolleyes:

Like Brown said, classless. I'd be ashamed if I were them.

Yeah. If he had a totally different knife with IT'S OWN LOOK, like a ka-bar or a big Buck it wouldn't bother me. The TG was lost. Fine. Southern grind is from their neck of the woods so maybe he gets ahold of one of their knives. Fine. But this thing is just wrong.

These knives are being made by Southern Grind (owned by the Zach Brown Band) did I read that correctly?

All the more reason to not have that ugly knife.
on another note.......are there any other Busse/kin blades in TWD that anyone knows of? I'm new to the madness and still feel like I have spotted a few in a scene or two. Anybody?

I thought he honked the horn to attract walkers also, but on the Talking Dead he stated just the opposite. He honked the horn to make sure that there were no walkers around and that they'd be safe until they woke up.

Along the same lines of the "All life is precious" his reaction when he see's Rick killing the doctor at the end of the show seems to be shock. I wonder how this will play out in future shows.

Really enjoyed this show, probably the best of the season.

really glad to see Morgan back, dug him in Jericho, glad to see he is a bad ass. As far as his "all life is precious" mantra, didn't he learn that from Rick, which then would make sense his look of shock at the killing. Sure hope he is back for good, they have teased us with his character a few times now

Yeah, I was thinking that after watching the Talking Dead. Apparently Morgan had an "Insightful Incident" and I was thinking it might have been when Rick made contact with him the last time (in "Clear").

Morgan has seen alot of heartache also. Who knows what kind of other people he has encountered on his voyage to Rick. I also hope he sticks around to help out. Next season cannot come soon enough for me. I'm addicted to the show. There is always something to keep ya on your feet. Now that people are going to listen to Rick and everyone will be armed they might just be safer.....or not?
