Walking Dead Season 5 (HEADS UP: Possible Episode Spoilers May Be Posted Within)

just finished all three episodes in a row - could not wait for the remaining cannibals to get it :D

...besides, i already made you a promise  :D - just too cool - i had to review that scene three times :D

Church scene was awesome. I love the crazy side of Rick. Much better than he was awhile back.

Daryl doesn't have his TG back. He has a knife that is shaped like the TG but is either a really bad stunt copy or they switched his knives with a POS for some idiot reason. Been debating it since shots of Season 5 were leaked. Really hoping the TG hero makes a comeback soon so we know that it is just a bad stunt copy.

I was thinking the same thing. The color of the handle looked wrong and the part of the blade that was sticking out above the sheath looked really narrow. I was wondering if he had that dagger that Gareth was packing at the trough scene.

Was glad to see Rick make good on his promise to kill Gareth with the red handled machete.

Maybe captured where they have Beth. I am thinking Morgan is the one with Daryl.

It's either Beth, Carol, or Morales (the father from Season 1 who decided he and his family would split from the group and not go to the CDC with Rick and the others.)

I don't think it's Morgan for one reason.... Daryl never met him.

He would never re-introduce him to Michonne by saying "Come on out."

Rick met Morgan, originally. Then after he went insane, Morgan met Michonne and Carl. No one else from the group ever met Morgan.

Bob crawled/hopped back to the church without knowing the direction, as he was knocked out and taken to the school last ep.

No, he was intentionally dumped there by Gareth so the group would leave the church on a revenge mission to the elementary school. Then Gareth and the others would kill whoever was left behind at the church. For both revenge and more food.

I just assumed Carol grabbed it with the other effects she saw. The sword wasn't there as it was with one of the Terminites.

She only grabbed Daryl's bow and Rick's watch. There might be a continuity issue as some feel that Beth still had it after she was kidnapped.

At the country club where D t's off a zombie head, B about that time stabs a Z w/ a knife that certainly is not a TG. Then, well after B has been kidnapped...in the woods where D gets feathers ruffled over a bunny...D reaches to un-sheath the TG but the leader of that rag tag group stops him then halves the bunny Swamp style.

FastForward to newest episodes and it's not clear to me how/if D got the TG back.

I hope we aren't returning to when each episode was focused solely on one person or couple. Sooooo boring.

I hope they focus more on closure of this "group"(Daryl, Carol, Beth) rather then starting on a new path with the "Washington team" next episode.

I just love how they're showing the different ways that other groups are coping with the apocalypse.

To me too. I guess they had to get some background for a big rescue from the hospital going.

Carol teaming up with Beth could set them up as insiders in the hospital; Rick and crew can rescue them and take refuge in the hospital for a while.

After watching the extra sneak peek on the Talking Dead, they now have to wrap up the story lines of...

- Why Abraham was putting a can-o-soup beat-down on the doctor they ended up killing in this episode (the one with the punctured lung who supposedly fell off a roof)

- Where the laundry guy went (I'm thinking that's who's with Daryl)

and

- How Carol got captured.

On a side note: One thing's for sure... if the Talking Dead brings on any more coked-up hollywood special guests (i.e. - that chucklehead on the "left" side of the couch), I'm going to have to pass on TTD altogether. :barf: The ONLY thing that saved tonight's episode of TTD was Emily Kinney.;)

This episode with Beth was the most boring of this season. If they are going to follow several story lines I at least wish they would do so by letting us see a little of each every episode. I do not like following one story line like this for an entire episode, makes for an hour of boredom.

Yeah, kind of a boring episode but after seeing it I'm betting that the kid that escaped (Noah, I think is name was) is who's in the bushes when Daryl came back to the church and that now Rick, Daryl and Michonne will go on an arse kicking rescue mission.

Just caught up. Beth episode was terrible. First time I was actually ready for the show to end.
