Carl's got himself a new knife. Nice big old Laredo bowie. Nice to see him with some serious zombie destroying steel.

Yeah I always try and see what they have. It still bugs me that Darrel's Busse Team Gemini turned into some weird prop knife

Same thing happened with Abraham's knife, it has developed some serious lateral wiggle recently.

This show is pissing me off with the last few episodes. You mean I have to sit through another several episodes where the group has to figure out once again that the people who want to take them in aren't entirely good people?
Sheesh, how many times are they going to go through this before they figure out that they should just start shooting first and asking questions later:rolleyes:

And add me to the list of people mad that they got rid of the TGLB. It was just so iconic

Seems the Busse is back for episode 12.

Can't tell from the pic on my phone but when watching I thought it was still the copy

Nope that's the prop knife. It has a bowie or clip blade while the busse has a drop point. but they tried to match the TG handle. There is also some weird pattern on the blade. Hard to see from that pic but it's there.

It's weird, it's like maybe they lost the real busse and tried to make a knife that looked like it for continuity. Here's a pic of my TGLB for comparison. Darryl's blade was grey and I think the handle was black. While mine is jungle green and brown micarta uploadfromtaptalk1425342476379.jpg

Lol sure it "disappeared" off set. Some kid making $7 a hour thought it looked good.

C'mon guys... Do you really think this show makes such a small amount of money that they can't buy another one? They are using what they're using for some reason.

ETA - I'm guessing the reason is NOT "hey, let's take one of the most iconic blades on the entire show and replace it with something close. I'm sure nobody will notice."

I thought for all the important uniform props they had a stack of duplicates/sizes... In case one goes missing, an actor gets fat, or the prop is destroyed.

You could always get the graphic novels to get a head start on the show. :p

I haven't been too concerned about the fate of the TGLB. There is so much happening in the 'TWD universe' other than what is in the scenes/episodes that there are plenty of plausible explanations as to why someone doesn't have the same knife. Someone mentioned that Carl's knife was a Laredo Bowie. I'm not really familiar with that company, so I'll have to check them out.

I would like to know who has the 'Blender Glock'. Couple of obvious suspects, but still...

It is cool watching to see the knives in use on this show and others.

I was watching an episode of "Constantine" a few nights ago and he pulled out a neat auto...no idea what kind, etc.

On the "Dead" it was very cool to see the moment Carl and Rick were in the woods, towards the end of the episode, and they were facing the walkers...after killing the group they take a moment to look at each other and give a brief nod to the other...that look said more than a thousand words could.

If they wanted another TGLB from Busse all they would have to do is ask. It would be on set next day air at no charge.

The amount of publicity that Busse is getting from that knife far outweighs what it would cost for TWD to buy one.. Busse knows that

Amen! You know it buddy. If they wanted one, they'd have one. They're not using it for some reason.
