Walking in the fall woods

COOL JohnG. In CT not many leaves left on the trees. I like riding my scoot this time of year when the bugs are gone. It's been so warm this past week some more bugs hatched!

You mentioned getting a fire lit but it not taking. Perhaps you already know, but if any birch trees (especially the white) are around, get some bark. It burns almost like paper, wet or dry.

Wow! That hawk looks amazing, really crisp utilitarian pattern. The "beard" must make it easy to choke up and use it as a ulu no?

I haven't used it ulu-style yet, but I imagine you're right! It is a very handy hawk.
