Wally Hayes & ATC collaboration

We may do a run someday in the future, again...we made them in 03'.

They were expensive because of the intense machine time but worth every penny.

Andy, how much is "expensive" sir? ;) I have a sinister interest in knowing something that is probably going to be way out of my price range... I am still fighting myself to buy my first VTAC.

I'd love one as well. What a great design. I love my VTAC and all my other Hawks, but this one looks awesome.

Dave I am waiting to get my $ and then I am going to buy my first american tomahawk... and its going to be the VTAC.

Off the top of my head, I think we sold the Combat version at $325...the wrapped version was nearly $400 if I remember...maybe it was $385.

In any event, the reality is that as soon as any source starts getting above $300 for an axe, the unit sales aren't stunning by any means.

I'm proud of what we did with Wally's design....if another run of 100-200 is justified, we'll do it. For now, we have our hands full with the VTAC, CQC-T, and the Comanche for sure.

Glad to see that business is good!!! Ya simply cant beat the ATC. I am looking to get my VTAC soon!!;)

Hi Dave, When you emailed me I was swammped getting ready for Blade show and at the moment I don't have a pro pic of the hawk.
I will look around and ask some of the guys when I am in New York for the show. Hope to help you out.
Cheers, Wally Hayes

I am ecstatic to say I have procured both an ATC/Hayes special edition as well as a prototype Wally Hayes Battle Hawk. No pics yet so don't ask. They are both incredibly well made and I must say utterly savage. Wally is amazing.
