WALLY HAYES BOWIE TYPE CUSTOM PROTOTYPE.
From the maker, this is one of three made so far and this being the Prototype.
Highly Mirror Polished 0 1 Tool Steel, with a nice Visible Heat Harmon.
Thumb Ramp.
Cord Wrapped Rayskin Handle.
Half a Bullet Menuki.
8 Inch Blade.
12 3/4 Inches Overall.
Nylon Tactical Drop Leg Sheath, Kydex liner, with pouches etc.
Generic Nylon Sheath with Insert also included.

BLADE WIDTH IS 1/4 OF AN INCH ALL THE WAY DOWN TO THE POINT.

Basically never used, edge is perfect. There are some scratches present on blade. It's almost impossible to photography them, but they are there, I imagine from Kydex. I don't know anything about 0 1 Steel, maybe they would polish out a bit, but I can't guarantee that. I'm making it sound a lot worse than it is, so someone gets a nice surprise. It's a really cool working piece of art. :thumbup:

I'm out of town until Tuesday, so I'll post a thickness then.
But from memory it's "HOG" thick, got to be over a 1/4 of an inch.

As I thought it's a 1/4 of an Inch all the way down the spine until the last Inch which tapers to the point. :thumbup:

It's certainly an interesting design. His work is special as is the man himself.
I guess and I'm no expert as it's ground both sides from roughly the middle of the blade down it has a sabre grind?
I'll post a picture tomorrow of the spine.
