Well, I hate to do it, but this Serious Tool is just sitting around, and it should be with someone who will put it to work. This is one of Mastersmith Hayes' Tactical Tantos, and it's a real piece of work! The blade is about 11 3/8 inches long from Tip to Turkshead knot, and the handle is about 6 1/2 for a grand total of just shy of eighteen inches. 1/4 inch stock, with wrapped epoxy dipped handle, lovely black stingray, and Wally's signature silver dragon menuki (handle ornament). Very clear and nice temper line.

This blade has the original edge, and has never been used to cut. The only thing that keeps the blade from being perfect, is that Mr. Hayes sends it out with a matte finish, and the sheath is a double layer of Kydex on the inside, and ballistic nylon on the outside. During shipping, the Kydex actually polished the blade, and created a few bright spots, mostly up near the tip. They should be visible in the photographs. I'm sure that Mastersmith Hayes would bring the blade back to perfect for a small fee if the few spots bothered you.

$650.00 by money order or certified check. Paypal is $25.00 more. I'll pay to insure and ship priority in the Continental U.S. I'll hold your $ until you give me the big grinning, "I LIKE IT!!" (think Robocop with the assault cannons scene for the proper intonation). The photographs are not stellar, but they give you an idea of what you'll receive. (I just looked at the photos and they look even worse as attachments! Bah. Drop me a PM and I'll send you better ones directly if you're serious.)

Thanks for looking,
James
