Wally World Tins

Yep Jeff...
Arrived and on my shelf. I appreciate what you did and the same for Ron. One for EDC and one for my time capsule.

Sucks here in the 'hood...no knives except those Coleman scout types in the camping section on the peg board next to the plastic tent stakes. But ya can get a big ass kitchen knife. Such logic.

Thanks again Hawkeye and E-cubed. May good karma be your's.
L&R...
Goose.

Hey...
Someone probably posted this in one of the other threads on the same Wally Tin topic...
But I couldn't find it.

What sheath comes with the tin?
Leather or genuine corinthian cordura/nylon?
Horizontal carry ability?
Why is the sky blue?

Rayleigh scattering.... blue wavelength light is absorbed and scattered by air molecules in our atmosphere.....

Don't know anything about the sheaths.

A cordura sheath comes with the knife.

Yes, it does have horizontal carry ability.

The sky is blue to serve as a beautiful backdrop when you hold your Buck up to admire it.

I got my 110-in-a-tin yesterday. The Lewis Center, Ohio Wally had a couple dozen or so and I cherry picked a good one. I may go back for another.

I plan to keep one sealed in the tin. I like to think of it as a future birthday present to a grandchild -- my kids are teenangers, so that should NOT be any time soon!

Call me a traitor, a scumbag, a loser, a whatever - but I chose the 373, 375, and 379 tin over the 110 tin. The quality of these knives seemed to be well worth the price (at least to me) whereas I noticed that some of the 110's had imperfections which made me wary of what the other side looked like.

Well with all of this talk about them, I decided to mosey on up to the local
Wally World and take a look, seeing that they had whole big stack of em I figured I'd get two.

I do think I'll look for a factory leather sheath for my user though.
Thanks Rick

Crian Highway, Glen Burine, MD.. but you better hurry, any day now there could a huge tax on them.

Upstream...
Thanks for the cool pic. Nice idea to have one opened and one in the clam.

Does this year's tin come with the little display stand like last year's 112?
I liked that.
