Walmart Supply Question...Thomas??

It might be good store policy however to give some basic knife handling training to some of their inexperienced staff.

They don't have experienced staff to do that. Maybe the shipping guy
in the back.

upnorth - at least you haven't ask for a gun :)

Oh, that is funny.

Not laughing at someone getting hurt, but I can see the clerk saying
"This is how you load the magazine. Whoops! Sir ? Sirrr ? "

The lack of knife stores and knives at other stores has opened up the Internet market. I know of nowhere in my area to buy a quality knife so I order them over the net. I have been very lucky with Internet vendors, only got hosed once: Savson Swords. All I can say is thanks for the Internet guys, without them I'd still be carrying a Barlow or something like that. The
best one I have found overall is New Graham Knives: good selection, good prices and ships quickly.

Walmart I found is best with just ordering online and having it shipped to the store. I got a good deal on my rainbow leek through them after some coupons and cards I had so I went with them. No knives in stock in any of the store I went to by the King of PRussia, PA area.

I had the shittiest experience trying to buy through them. The lady at the counter told me I could not open the box and look at the outside of the knife to confirm if it was framelock or a linerlock. I asked her if she could open it, she said no. I then asked what the return policy was when the guy standing next to her said "We don't need to have a conversation about this". I lost it at that point. I have worked service for 8 years and you do not say shit like that to a customer especially when I apparently knew their store policy better than them (I had been allowed to see one the last time I was there). I asked the guy for his name so I could shoot an email above his head and he promptly turned his name tag over. Once he pulled those shenanigans I actually decided to get in touch with corporate about it as before I was just going to leave him thinking and not do anything. I hate that store and hate when it is where I need to shop.

Here in Northern California in my city there is no problem with the supply of Kershaw Blurs Chive's or Scallion's the last two I bought just recently. They even have Natives, you know that other brand knife.
They even let you play with them!:)
